Set List is updated for this week, and who is On Deck should be posted by the end of the day.

Check out this fresh take on a ZCC classic by Delirious: Majesty. (This version is in Ab, so if you're rehearsing with the recording, it's going to be 4 half steps down from the posted leadsheet in C, or capo 8.)
 
Dan-Dan: Can you work out the synth intro?  It's one line, 2 times, 8 measures in,  and I'd love to start the song this way. It's also used as a musical bridge, repeated 4 times after the 2nd time through the chorus.  And if you listen, you can hear that same synth voice very present after the bridge, with an ascending run every other measure,  throughout that repeat of the chorus.

Adam: Take a listen to the whole song and note the dynamics used: it builds out after musical bridge with the keyboard voice adding a soaring feel to the chorus.  Then we have a break down. nicely placed, and very effective used as the ending of our set.  It sets the tone for listening to the Word.

Brandon: Note how the drummer stays in at the end of Majesty during the break down.  He keeps the tempo, but doesn't steal the mood. It's a good reference point to what I've mentioned before.

Caleb/Luke: Take a listen to the break-down in this song and note the electric stays in, with arpeggiated  chords (chords broken down into single notes, eighth notes in this instance).  Can we try this on Friday? (capo up 8 to play along with the recording if you're using the posted lead sheet in C.)
